Earth tones dress the latest colorway of Zion Williamson’s second signature silhouette with Jordan Brand.
Though Zion Williamson had to miss the entirety of the 2021-2022 NBA season due to injury, his signature line with Jordan Brand saw continued success with hoopers and the general public. On the heels of his return to the NBA, we are getting a slew of Jordan Zion 2 colorways, including the upcoming “Fossil” pair.
Coming dressed in leather across its upper, shades of fossil and sail take over all throughout. Down around the toe, a perforated leather forefoot strap for extra lockdown support gets dressed in a tonal fossil shade with Zoom Air branding placed on its end. Just beneath this, the mesh tongue comes in a slightly darker shade of tan while the top part comes in an almost animal-like print, also seen back on the heel. Zion branding lands on various parts of the upper with the “ZW” logo embossed on the tongue, placed on the insole, around the toe box on the midsole, and a part of the outsole’s traction pattern. Also seen on the insole is the quote “I’ve never been this drippy” in golden text, helped by the fact the sneaker comes with a gold hang tag of the “ZW” logo. Underfoot, the Zoom Air cushioned midsole comes in a two-tone sail and white shade while the rubber outsole gets dressed in red and white.
The Jordan Zion 2 Fossil is slated to release on October 1st, 2022 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
