Another Achilles injury hit the pro sports world over the weekend, when 49ers Tight End George Kittle left the Niners wild card win against the Eagles after coming up limping. Kittle won’t make it back for the rest of SF's playoff run, but if he’s smart, he’ll reach out to Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum for some rehab advice.

Tatum is still recovering from his own devastating Achilles injury, but according to insiders, his rehab is going so well that the presumed season-ending injury could be reduced to a season-shortening injury, with Tatum possibly returning by the playoffs. In the meantime, Tatum is outside, pushing his latest signature sneaker, the Jordan Tatum 4, including showing off two new pairs of NCAA PEs this week.

Posted to Tatum’s Instagram story on Tuesday, the Jordan Tatum 4 University of Florida and Jordan Tatum 4 University of Michigan PEs both follow a similar design style, starting with an all-grey base across the upper matched with light blue piping on the Florida pair and dark navy blue piping on the Michigan pair. On the toe and heel panels, the shoes are decorated in all-over print collegiate graphics with the school’s mascots and cheers added like a dorm room wall. Surrounding the two pairs are retail colorways of the Tatum 4, including the Bruce Lee and Green Glow renditions.

So far, we’ve only seen the two NCAA PEs in a quick photo from Tatum’s social media, but we expect both of these to be exclusive to the Michigan and Florida basketball teams, so don’t get your hopes up for a retail release.
