Jayson Tatum Sports a Snakeskin Jordan Tatum 1 PE

Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics hope to keep their playoff run alive Thursday, as the team is down 3 games to 2 in the series against the Joel Embiid-led Philadelphia 76ers. While Tatum's on-court performance could be what tips the scales, sneakerheads are constantly looking to his feet to check out what colorway of his new signature silhouette with Jordan Brand, the Jordan Tatum 1, he is sporting during games. After unveiling a slew of Player Exclusive (PE) colorways over the last few weeks, including a tribute to his mother and an “Incognit-0” variant, Tatum debuted a “Snakeskin” colorway during Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the 76ers.
Keeping things relatively simple, the silhouette comes covered primarily in a neutral black-and-white color combo. Reminiscent of the grey and black snakeskin seen on Drake's upcoming NOCTA x Nike Hot Step Air Terra, the overlays around the eyelets, toe, tongue, and heel bring a luxurious feel to the sneaker. A lightweight mesh upper, a hallmark of the Jordan Tatum 1, then ensures comfort and breathability. Adding to its allure are the baby blue hits on the exposed knit along the profile and branding details near the heel, providing a dash of color against the neutral palette. Rounding out the design is the white midsole and outsole.
The Jordan Tatum 1 Snakeskin PE will likely remain a player-exclusive colorway for Tatum and not see a public release.
