Ahead of Jayson Tatum’s first signature sneaker launch with Jordan Brand, the Jordan Tatum 1, we have seen the Celtics star take the court in various PE colorways. Already seen showcasing love for his mother, taking inspiration from his Audemars Piguet, and a “Blueprint” themed pair, Tatum is serving up some huevos rancheros in his Jordan Tatum 1 “Breakfast Club” PE.
Using a color combo that features shades found on ingredients that make up the dish huevos rancheros, the model comes constructed out of engineered mesh, suede, TPU, and foam. Throughout most of the upper, we see white shades with hits of yellow (representing the sunny-side-up egg) take over the mesh and TPU portions, respectively. Tannish-colored suede appears on the eyestays and heel, while the sockliner and parts of the mesh visible through the sole come in a chili-red hue. Green chilis are represented via the tongue and heel tab, with branding details mostly taking on a black shade. The insole shows a graphic depicting “Gameday Brunch” with the caption “Now serving… Huevos Bancheros," a spin on the name of the famous Mexican breakfast dish that incorporates the name of up-and-coming NBA star Paolo Banchero. Rounding out the design of this PE is the white foam midsole paired with a tonal white rubber outsole.
The Jordan Tatum 1 Breakfast Club PE will remain exclusive to Jayson Tatum, though you can check out detailed shots of the sneaker down below.
