Scrolling through social media, it’s hard to ignore what almost every brand under the sun is developing, a foam-based clog silhouette. For Jordan Brand, they’re marrying both the sock sneaker and foam clog together with the upcoming Jordan System.23 “Atmosphere.”
Coming in a two-piece construction, the internal knit bootie gets a two-tone black and grey look while the external foam comes in a light “Atmosphere” pink. On the knit piece, the bottom half covered in mesh is separated by overstitching details, complimenting the nylon pull tabs on the top of the tongue and heel. The foam clog features perforations on the toebox, and a textured top half while the bottom half gets a smooth finish alongside the multiple Jumpman logos. Back towards the heel, a cutout providing extra breathability resembles the adidas Yeezy Foam RNNR due to its curvature. Underfoot, the foam outsole features a light traction pattern.
The Jordan System.23 Atmosphere is set to release in the Fall of 2022 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
