Breaking records and breaking ankles, Luka Dončić looks to break necks with the Jordan Luka 1.
Having recently completed his 4th NBA season, Luka continued to perform extremely well. Signing to Jordan Brand in 2019, most assumed that the 23 year old would soon have a signature shoe of his own. Fast forward to 2022 and those assumptions will become a reality.
Predominately white, this colorway of the Jordan Luka 1 is rumored to be a tribute to the Real Madrid Basketball team. Neo Turquoise accents the Jumpman logos, heel strap, and portions of the midsole and outsole, with bright crimson hits on the back bottom heels and outsole. Luka’s logo on the tongue comes in silver. I am most excited about the technology in this sneaker. As explained by Nike, there’s an IsoPlate foot frame that wraps up the lateral forefoot. A new foam called Formula 23 which is lightweight and responsive. Lastly, breathable Flightwire cables on the lateral side of the upper aid with embracing the foot.
The Jordan Luka 1 White Neo Turquoise is set to release on September 23rd, 2022 after being delayed from their original July launch date. It will drop on Nike and select retailers worldwide, online and in-store. Coming in full-family sizing, retail is set at $110 for men.
