From the Nike Air Force 1 to the New Balance 990v3, we've encountered no shortage of South Beach-inspired sneakers over the years. Now, Luka Dončić's signature shoe with Jordan Brand is getting the Miami makeover in the form of the Jordan Luka 1 "South Beach," and it is no doubt one of our favorite ones yet. Clean and vibrant at the same time, even though we're still in the middle of Winter these have us daydreaming of the warmer weather already.
Landing in a crisp white color scheme, the upper of this Luka 1 is crafted from a versatile knit and is reinforced with Flightwire technology. The tongue boasts a paint stroke-like design complete with Dončić's logo, and this eye-catching mixture of fire pink, dynamic turquoise, laser orange, siren red, and light racer blue can be found throughout for an unmistakably South Beach vibe. Underfoot, the midsole is made from Formula 23 foam and is paired with an IsoPlate foot frame, and of course, you can't talk about this sneaker without mentioning the "Jordan Brand Basketball" text that's printed on the medial side of the right shoe, and the Latin phrase "Non Desistas Non Exieris" on the medial of the left, which translates to "Never Give Up, Never Surrender" in English.
The Jordan Luka 1 South Beach is set to release on December 12th, 2022, in men's sizing for $110.
