In case you didn't already know, the Dub Zero was Jordan Brand's very first hybrid silhouette ever. First introduced all the way back in 2005, when many of you weren't even born yet, it looks like the Michael Jordan-helmed label will be giving the model a massive push over the next few months. With legendary colorways like the "Cool Grey" and "Fire Red" already prepped to drop, the "Black Taxi" is also set to drop.
Borrowing elements from a wide range of Jordan silhouettes, the black upper is inspired by the Air Jordan 13, with laser detailing that nods to the Air Jordan 20. The "TWO3" text across the tongue pays tribute to the Air Jordan 12. Down below, the Air Jordan 4-esque midsole is dipped in a striking taxi yellow, and this hue makes its way to the inner sock liner as well. Of course, you can't talk about the Dub Zero without mentioning the Air Jordan 6 heel tab and the patent leather taken from Air Jordan 11. Basically speaking, if you're a fan of all of these Jumpman models but only have enough cash to buy one pair, the Dub Zero is definitely worth considering.
The Jordan Dub Zero Black Taxi is set to release in Holiday 2022, in men's, gradeschool, pre-school, and toddler sizing for $160, $130, $80, and $60, respectively. They will be available at Nike as well as at select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, both online and in-store.
