Jordan Brand is looking to help the next era of sneaker designers get into the game, and after bringing together eight up-and-coming shoe artists from around the globe with Jordan family mentors, the Jordan Design Studio finally has eight Air Jordan 1 remix designs ready for judging.

You may not have a say in who wins, but with a look at all eight pairs from the competition, we can all serve as our own judges from afar.

Hailing from across the world, the designers from Mexico City, Shanghai, and Beijing added high ankles or baggy shrouds for a maximalist look, while the finalists from New York and Tokyo took a slimmer approach, the Chicago and LA pairs got crafty, and finally, the colorway from Seoul brought a collage of Swooshes to an extra-tall ankle.
