‍Going live via the Nike SNKRS app, Jordan Brand has provided us with our first official preview of their Retro Footwear Collection for Spring 2022. With shipping delays causing release dates to be pushed back, we see some rumored pairs get new dates as well as some leaks confirmed. In addition, the price increase rumored in early 2021 will indeed go into effect with the start of the new year. You read that right, most Jordan Retros in 2022 will have an increased retail price...

Kicking things off we have the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG in an all-new “Dark Marina Blue.” Similar in design to the classic “Royal’s,” these AJ1’s feature a two-tone color blocked leather upper with blue overlays and black underlays. Originally set to drop on January 15th, they are now set for February 16th, 2022 for $170. On January 20th the ladies are blessed with an all-new Air Jordan 5 Retro Low. Nicknamed the “Arctic” edition, this pair sports an arctic orange-based upper with siren red and black accents. Retail for these AJ 5 Lows is set at $175.

Continuing along we have the Air Jordan 9 Retro “University Red.” Previously known as the “Particle Grey” edition, this pair sports a black-based upper with grey accents and small hits of red. They are tentatively scheduled to drop on January 29th for $200. Next we have the “Infrared 23” or “Infrared” Air Jordan 4 Retro. Sporting similar color blocking to the “Green Glow” AJ 4 but with infrared accents instead. These are set to release on May 12th for an updated $200 retail price.

On February 24th, Jordan Brand honors the original “Cardinal Red” Air Jordan 7 by applying its color scheme to the Air Jordan 3 Retro. Classic vibes, these AJ 3’s featuring a white-based leather upper with cement print detailing finished off by cardinal red accents. Retail for these is set at the new $200 price point as well. The Air Jordan 5 Retro also makes an appearance, dropping in an all-new “Black/Racer Blue” colorway on February 12th. They too will run $200 for men’s sizes.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Brotherhood” edition gets renamed to “University Gold/Light Bordeaux.” Releasing on February 26th, this pair features a university gold and light bordeaux theme on the upper with white accents. Retail is set at the usual $170 for this AJ 1 High. Another ladies exclusive, the Air Jordan 4 Retro “Sail/Cement Grey” aka the “Blank Canvas” edition debuts on February 24th. Coming in women’s sizing for $200, this pair features a canvas twill upper with lightly frayed edges.

In March as the weather starts to begin to change, the Air Jordan 13 Retro “White/Del Sol” is dropping to brighten up life. They will be available in full-family sizing with men’s pairs coming in at $200. Celebrating its 30th Anniversary, the first Air Jordan 7 Retro of 2022 comes in an all-new ACG inspired “SE Sapphire” edition. Featuring a beige-based upper with translucent cut outs, bright, colorful accents and speckles throughout the midsole. They too will be available in March 2022. Retail for the AJ 7 SE is $210.

Inspired by the “Zen Master” Phil Jackson, the Air Jordan 4 Retro “Amethyst Wave” features a galaxy-like graphic throughout the upper with clear accents. A release date is set for March 19th, 2022, retailing for $210. Another new colorway of the Air Jordan 3 Retro is on the way in March 2022. Nicknamed the “Muslin/University Red” edition, this pair has A Ma Maniere vibes throughout. Dropping in men’s sizes, they will retail for $210.

Rounding on the Jordan Brand Spring 2002 Retro Footwear Collection are two new Air Jordan 6 Retro’s. One for men and the other for women, men get blessed with the latest “UNC” aka “University Blue” edition on March 5th for $210 while the women get a “Mint Foam” pair for $200 on March 8th.
