Jordan Brand Announces Myles Garrett Signing After Record-Setting 23rd Sack

There’s just something about the number 23.

In the fourth quarter of the last regular-season game of the year, Cleveland Browns’ defensive end Myles Garrett turned the corner on the Cincinnati Bengals’ offensive line and took down Joe Burrow for his single-season record-setting 23rd sack of the year. With Garrett’s name in the record books, Jordan Brand was ready, immediately announcing a partnership with the 2023 Defensive Player of the Year.

Garrett’s signing was announced immediately after the 23rd sack was recorded in a social media post from Jordan Brand with the tagline “23 Sacks. No Coincidence,” adding the caption “That’s one helluva way to join the family.” and, in an additional quote, “It’s only right, as he set the record at 23…..a number that’s synonymous with Greatness.”

Garrett was prepared for the moment in every way, including his Jordan Brand announcement, recording the record-setting sack in a pair of Jordan 11 Legend Blue Cleats. The Browns didn’t make the playoffs, but the team celebrated Garrett’s sack like a game-winner, with teammates and fans giving him his due respect and well-deserved ovation.
