Outside of March Madness, another spectacle takes place, WrestleMania. Getting bigger and better each year, the Showcase of the Immortals is the most significant event for the WWE, especially their Superstars. This year, for WrestleMania 40, Jordan Brand has linked up with the reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, to ensure the Head of the Table is laced up properly.
Seeing sneakers crossover into wrestling is nothing new. Shane McMahon, Enzo Amore, Kofi Kingston, and others have all worn sneakers in and out of the squared circle during some of the most iconic moments in wrestling history, and that's just in the WWE. The crossover has evolved, with Superstars getting their custom sneakers and boots, courtesy of Mache and others. This collaboration is not exclusive to men either. Ladies like Liv Morgan, Carmella, and Becky Lynch have been seen in one-off pairs explicitly made for them.
With WrestleMania 40 taking place over a span of two nights, April 6-7, 2024, Jordan Brand will have its presence felt in both official and unofficial capacities. Expect to see customs alongside a unique collection the brand has officially given to Roman Reigns for the festivities. Reigns, the Head of the Table for his Bloodline stable, has his hands busy with two big matches, one on Night One and the other on Night Two.
Taking to social media, a video has started to make the rounds showcasing a unique Bloodline Collection for the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Housed in special red and black trunks, the dual branding of Roman Reigns x Air Jordan is prominent. When you delve deeper, a capsule that includes apparel alongside footwear for in the ring and out comes complete with Air Reigns branding.
Regarding footwear, Jordan Brand blessed Reigns with the Air Jordan 3 Retro Craft Ivory, Air Jordan 4 Retro Reimagined Bred, and two colorways of the Jordan Stadium 90. Each pair has been customized to feature unique graphics such as Air Reigns and his laser-printed logo, the Day One and Bloodline logos on the tongues, and Air Reigns lace dubraes. A unique pair of Jordan Boxer SP boots inspired by the Air Jordan 11 are expected to be laced up by Roman during his matches.
While this is an official collaboration made by Jordan Brand for Roman Reigns and WrestleMania 40, don't be surprised to see both work together in the future.
