Founded back in 2010, the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League, aka EYBL, became a way for top AAU travel teams and players to showcase their skills on a national stage. Every year during the Peach Jam, which serves as the league's circuit finals, Nike and Jordan Brand cook up commemorative clothing and sneakers with 2022 featuring both the Air Jordan 36 Low and Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG, though they will stay player exclusives to the players competing in the tournament.

For the footwear in the collection, both pairs come in kid-friendly multi-color makeups with the AJ 1 Low taking on a darker approach. Dressed in black all-over, the toebox, tongue, and Swoosh get dressed in a collage of colors representing a galactic photograph. Running up the tongue is a set of black wax laces, working up to the EYBL branded tongue tag in a lime green color. Back on the heel, the Jordan Wings logo is embroidered in a matching green shade to the tongue, also seen on the rubber outsole. Rounding everything off is the black midsole.

With the AJ 36 Low, this same galactic theme is even more present with the Leno-weave mesh upper coming in a colorful mix of oranges, purples, blues, and more. Running up the tongue is a two-tone orange and neon green set of laces, kept in place by a lime green lace lock. More green hits appear on the uppermost eyestay and pull-tab located on the heel. Underfoot, a multi-color Zoom Air cushioned midsole is paired with a marbled green and blue rubber outsole.

Clothing includes two matching track suits, one in grey and one in black that features dual branding between EYBL and Jordan Brand. Jerseys and t-shirts will also come in neutral shades with the same dual branding features, though they also receive a “Jordan Family” graphic. To keep everything matching, throw on your backpack and compression sleeves to really represent the EYBL organization. Once you’re done dominating the court, grab your co-branded Jordan Slides.

With no official word on whether or not the clothing will release, we do know that the footwear featured will stay exclusive to the players of the tournament. For more updates regarding sneakers, streetwear, and more, keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App.
