The MLB All-Star festivities are behind us, and squads across the National and American leagues are already back in action. That means it's time to dust off your favorite baseball cap and head to the park, or the couch, and watch the second half of the MLB season. John Geiger, the designer who sneakerheads know for his Misplaced Checks custom Nike Air Force 1s, is bringing some extra flair to your baseball hat with his Misplaced Series.

John Geiger MLB Misplaced Series 2.0 Details

Following up on his first official Misplaced Series with the MLB, which featured hats for squads across the league, and of course, his hometown Pittsburgh Pirates, the Misplaced Series 2.0 expands the offerings to more franchises. Of course, the Pirates couldn’t be skipped, but there are designs for the Angels, Cubs, Cardinals, Rays, Giants, Dodgers, and Rangers. In a video promoting the release at Fanatics Fest, John mentions that “all teams” are dropping, though we haven’t seen designs for the rest of the squads just yet.

As for the design itself, Geiger uses repeated logos on the cap's front two panels, some stacked on top of one another and others spaced out. Moving along, you’ll find a baseball diamond with “Misplaced Series by John Geiger” branding on the lateral, a New Era flag flying on the medial, and an MLB logo on the back.
