Titled “Conversations Amongst Us,” JoeFreshGoods and his New Balance partnership continues to grow.
Teasing the entire sneaker community in January, JoeFreshGoods took to Twitter to post two special New Balance boxes with his JFG branding across the side as well as a photo of Michael Jordan holding three fingers up. Fresh off his teasing of the JoeFreshGoods x New Balance 9060 “Inside Voices,” we’re getting first looks courtesy of the man himself of the New Balance 2002R “Conversations Amongst Us.”
Dressed in a mainly white and cream upper constructed out of standard 2002R materials like mesh and leather, accenting browns and golds provide a pop of color. Down around the toebox, a raw leather lined mudguard sits around cream colored overlays and brown vamp with New Balance “N” branding. Coming with white flat laces, the pair appears to come with an extra sets of blue and cream colored laces. Along the midfoot, another “N” logo appears in silver with black and gold piping accents, as well as raw leather edges on the midfoot overlays. Rounding out the look is a white Abzorb cushioned midsole with gum accents around the heel, paired to a gum rubber outsole.
The JoeFreshGoods x New Balance 2002R is slated to release in April 15th, 2022 through JoeFreshGoods website, New Balance, and select retailers online and in-store. Sizing and retail pricing has yet to be announced.
