The sneaker loafer-hybrid emerged out of nowhere as one of the most unique trends in footwear last year, and the blend of athletic sneaker and formal officewear isn’t gone yet. The loafer tooling releases have slowed, but adding dress shoe details to a standard sneaker has emerged as the next step, with dressy details on a new Air Jordan 6 and the Haven x Vans Authentic 44 collection. Now, British designer _J.L-A.L._ is getting in on the dapper energy with a Puma collab pack.

The _J.L-A.L_ x Puma Cell Geo 1 Pack features two pairs of the wavy-heeled trainer clad entirely in leather, one in patent black called Midnight, and the other in a worn patina of shiny brown Cocoa Bean. Both pairs feature a black patent leather tongue with a _J.L.-A.L._ logo at the top and a black outsole and massive split heel unit.

On the upper, the Cocoa Bean colorway features darker brown leather across the top of the upper with splotches of bright brown on the toe and side panels like a well-worn wingtip. The Midnight pair, on the other hand, is a clean slate of shiny black patent leather ready for a black tie event.
