Two contrasting colors, Black and White, take over the Jeremy Scott x adidas Wings 4.0.
One of the 2000s most iconic collaborations in sneakers (and one of the first crossovers between high fashion and sportswear), Jeremy Scott rose to prominence in the mainstream thanks to his wings-laden adidas sneakers. After nearly a decade of being in the archives, Scott and adidas linked back up in 2021 to revive the cult classic series of wild in-your-face sneaker designs and even brought back the iconic Wings sneaker. Now heading into 2023, we’re set to receive a duo of Jeremy Scott x adidas Wings 4.0 colorways in “Black” and “White” as a part of the Opal Pack.
Coming dressed in patent leather on both pairs, the sneakers maintain their classic Forum-inspired design with wings popping off the side near the collar. On the Black colorway, an iridescent finish is applied to the patent leather throughout the sneaker while the White pair comes more toned down with its monochromatic clean finish. Gaining the “Opal Pack” naming convention, both pairs feature a rubber heel strip that is finished in an opal-like color. As for the rest of the model, typical adidas details are present with the brand's name, Trefoil, and Three Stripes logos found in their rightful homes. Underfoot sits the matching rubber midsole with exposed Dellinger webbing on the medial side and comes complete with a tonal rubber outsole.
The Jeremy Scott x adidas Wings 4.0 Opal Pack is set to arrive on February 22nd, 2023 through adidas Confirmed and select adidas retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $220.
