JD Sports is Launching Four Exclusive Colorways of The New Balance 1000
Published
Initially released in 1999 as a performance runner, the New Balance 1000 quickly faded into obscurity and was taken off the market before the mid-2000s. However, the Boston-based footwear brand revived the sneaker in 2024, and it has since become one of its most popular silhouettes. Next up for the mesh runner is a four-pack of colorways launching exclusively at JD Sports.
Spanning three men’s colorways and one women’s exclusive, JD Sports’ exclusive NB 1000s feature neutral color palettes accented by pops of color on select portions of the upper. Starting with the women’s exclusive pair, we see a primarily white finish applied to the upper, spanning across the leather paneling on the top and bottom half of the sneaker. A gradient grey mesh transitions from dark grey to light as you move toward the toe, while the lining of the midfoot panels and the text on the tongue and heel are done in an aqua blue hue.

The three men’s pairs feature two in greyscale and black finishes and another in a blue hue. One ops for light grey leather panels, a gradient grey mesh base, and red accents on the tongue tag, heel, and lining of the midfoot panel. Another goes even darker, though its use of accenting hues (this pair sporting royal blue) is more prominent than the others. Finally, the blue-based colorway features a monochromatic shade on the leather panels, a gradient mesh going from white to light blue near the toe, and black hits on the N logo, New Balance logos, and sole unit.
The four JD Sports Exclusive New Balance 1000s will release July 14, 2025, through JD Sports and Finish Line online and in-store. Available in men’s, women’s, and GS sizing, the retail price is set at $150 for the adult pairs and $105 for the GS pairs.
