The revival of the adidas Adimatic stayed relatively low-key at the start of 2022 with a handful of retro colorways returning. Now shortly after their release, adidas is looking to pro-skater Jamal Smith for his input on the latest Adimatic. Inspired by hip-hop production, sample loops, and his love for 360 spin tricks, the Jamal Smith x adidas Adimatic is soon to arrive.
Covered in black throughout its upper, orange hits along the profile Three Stripes provide the sole pop of color. The chunky silhouette utilizes suede for its construction, both on its underlays and overlays. Weaving through the Three Stripes across the adidas branded tongue is a set of fat flat laces in black. Back on the heel, embroidered adidas branding finishes the upper. Unlike the OG 90s release, the pair will come with an Ortholite insole that follows the same black and orange color scheme as the rest of the silhouette. Completing the entire look is a black midsole and gum rubber outsole combo.
The Jamal Smith x adidas Adimatic is set to release on May 14th, 2022 through adidas.com/skateboarding and select Three Stripes skateshops. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $100.
