The age of the internet has provided us with plenty of independent designers and creatives who have made a living and a name for themselves through the use of social media. One man who has found success both through his ability to rap and design is Jae Tips, one of the fitted hat game's up-and-coming stars. Now, after various collabs with New Era and others in that space, Jae Tips has teased what will be his second project with Saucony (the first released exclusively at SneakerCon in 2022) on a three-pack of Saucony Grid Shadow 2s.
Jae Tips' colorful design language continues on this three-pack of Saucony Grid Shadow 2s. Various suede, mesh, and leather panels come in complimentary colors while co-branding between Jae Tips and Saucony is split between the tongues on each pair. Flower graphics also come embroidered in various locations of the silhouette, including the tongue and heel, while the insole pictured comes with a globe graphic stamped atop the inserts. Each colorway houses a different phrase. One pair is designed for you to "Wear To Dinner" while the other two states "Wear To A Date" and "Wear To The Party."
The Jae Tips x Saucony Grid Shadow 2 Pack in the "Wear To A Date" and "Wear To A Party" colorways were released on November 18, 2023 at ComplexCon. Following this, both pairs will be released via Jae Tips' website on November 24 at 1 PM EST. It's unknown if/when the "Wear To A Dinner" pair will hit shelves. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
