This year has been full of throwbacks to the late ‘90s and early 2000s. The sneaker industry is obsessed with the Y2K fashion that has captured the youth, bringing out futuristic silver, big air bubbles, and sharp lines. For fashion house Jacquemus, though, a continued partnership with Nike has turned into a perfect opportunity to return to the 1970s. Using the earliest archival model they could find, the Jacquemus x Nike Moon Shoe sold out immediately in its three debut colors, so it's only right that the shoe returns next year with three more chances to cop.
The Jacquemus x Nike Moon Shoe SP Spring 2026 collection features three new colorways of the shoe that started the Nike brand in 1972: Soft Pearl, Fauna Brown, and Aluminum Pink. So far, we’ve only seen photos of the pink pair, which covers the upper in a pale shade of pink with suede panels holding the shape of the light fabric. The Swoosh is white leather, and Jacquemus logos find their way to the tongue label and the pink suede heel panel. The thin midsole is white and sits above a brown outsole with the same astronaut tread that gave the shoe its name in ‘72.
Even without pictures, the other two pairs are pretty easy to imagine, with one covered in off-white shades of pearl and sail, and the other mixing brown and tan with yellow hits on the tongue logo. Jacquemus and Nike have been prolific creative partners for years now, producing the baseball-stitched J Force 1 and a streamlined Air Max 1 reimagining last year.
