It’s safe to say that even with adidas adding some of the biggest stars, designers, and influencers on the planet to its roster, the collaborative efforts (for the most part) have fallen flat in terms of where they COULD have gone. You’d think that with a name like Beyoncé next to your silhouettes the products would fly fast, however, many products under her IVY PARK line with The Three Stripes have ended up at outlets and sat on shelves well past its release. Maybe things can change with the duo's latest release as Beyonce brings a fashion-energized design twist to the adidas Top Ten 2000 in a “Beige Orange” colorway.
A combination of nubuck, suede, and leather takes over the upper of the basketball-ready silhouette and primarily comes in a shade dubbed “magic beige.” accenting the beige mudguard, midfoot, eyestays, and heel are orange accents seen on the two-tone lace set and via the bottom two eyelets. Along the tongue, you’ll find more beige tones with the tag above hosting “IVY PARK” branding in the center of a suede patch. Things do switch up internally with the beige sockliner getting a stark contrast thanks to the neon green insole hosting co-branded details between IVY PARK and adidas. For extra support, the collar comes fitted with neoprene and features a molded heel piece. Rounding out the design of the silhouette is the orange foam midsole paired with a grippy orange rubber outsole.
The IVY PARK x adidas Top Ten 2000 Beige Orange is set to release on January 20th, 2023 through adidas Confirmed and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $200.
