Tokyo’s Instant Skate Shop Debuts Black and Blue City Pack Nike SB Air Force 1 Collab

Nike SB is going global with its take on the Air Force 1. Beaverton’s skateboard department has been a leader in The Swoosh’s niche, cultural corner since its debut in the early aughts, and after two decades of SB Dunk hype, Nike SB might have finally found its equal with the SB Air Force 1. After rolling out the shoe to immediate fanfare in iconic suede colorways and a leather PE for Yuto Horigome with retro vibes, the latest SB AF1 collection brings skate shop collabs to the new silhouette.

Instant Gratification

The Nike SB Air Force 1 City Pack is the first skate shop collab collection on the SB AF1, dotting the globe with pairs for Nocturnal in Philadelphia, Fly Streetwear in Shanghai, Ben-G in Amsterdam, and Instant in Tokyo. After photos leaked of all four pairs over the summer, the shops have started to roll out each shoe individually, with Ben-G giving us an official look at its brown and purple pair earlier this week.

Now, Instant is here to keep the hype high, showing off the shop’s black suede upper with a blue suede Swoosh and a blue logo embroidered at the heel. Just like the Ben-G pair, the Instant-branded pair will be incredibly limited and only sold at the shop itself, while a matching pair without the Instant logo will drop at skate shops worldwide.

The Nike SB Air Force 1 City Pack Instant will be available October 9, 2026, through Instant Skate Shop in-store and online, with non-branded pairs in the same colorway dropping throughout Japan shortly after.
