Easy Otabor Debuts a Wizards-Inspired Infinite Archives x Air Jordan 17 Retro Low
Published
While many may not want to remember Michael Jordan’s days on the Washington Wizards, sneakerheads fondly remember the sneakers he wore on the court during those last years. One of the fan favorites from this time is the Air Jordan 17, which finally returned in its low-top form in 2024 with the release of the Lightning and University Blue colorways (excluding SoleFly's collab from 2018).
For its first collaboration since coming back, the Jordan 17 has been redone by Infinite Archives, and the label’s founder, Easy Otabor, has previewed multiple colorways so far, including one inspired by Mike Bibby’s PE from 2002, and another using a Chicago-friendly white, black, and red color palette. This latest Infinite Archives x Air Jordan 17 Low rendition draws direct inspiration from the Air Jordan 17 OG Wizards.

Like other AJ 17s, this pair features a white leather upper with perforations on the midfoot, black leather on the eyelets, and a black neoprene bootie. Infinite Archives branding is attached to the collar in a tonal blue finish that matches the TPU panel on the midsole. Metallic chrome detailing hits the heel, just like the OG AJ 17, while the look is complete with a clear and solid black rubber outsole.
The Infinite Archives x Air Jordan 17 Retro Low Wizards sample has no confirmed release date, and this pair will likely remain unreleased.
