HUF x Nike SB Dunk Low New York Drops November 16th On Nike SNKRS

The skating world was blessed to have the mind of Keith Hufnagel design boards, shoes, and clothing pieces through his iconic brand HUF, though unfortunately, the man behind the powerhouse company passed away in 2020. His impact will forever be felt throughout the skating scene, so Nike and HUF are set to honor the memory of the NYC native through an upcoming SB Dunk Low pack. Now we’re getting official images of the HUF x Nike SB Dunk Low "NYC."

Dressed in a premium tumbled leather upper, the silhouette comes in a two-tone white and navy blue combo with a hidden tie-dye canvas below all of the navy underlays. On the navy toebox, a 3D metallic Swoosh sits atop HUF branding while the surrounding white mudguard and eyestays contrast the look. Running up the navy mesh tongue is a set of white flat laces, stopping just below the redesigned Nike SB tongue tag which features “New York City” embroidery below the typical details. Running along the midfoot is a white Nike Swoosh that reaches back to the “Keith Forever” heel tab, though the text is split between the left and right shoe respectively. Just below this homage to Hufnagel is a graphic of the NYC skyline that features 3M reflective details. More HUF details appear on the volt green insole via branding as well as the reverse of the tongue tag hosting a celebratory 20th-anniversary message. Underfoot, a sail midsole is paired with a navy rubber outsole.

These official images also provide us a look at the packaging which comes as a black bag with a graphic of the NYC and San Francisco colorway as well as a “mystery” shoe. This suggests that you may not know which pair in the entire HUF x Nike SB Dunk Low Pack you will receive, though we will have to wait and see.

The HUF x Nike SB Dunk Low NYC is set to release in October 2022 through select skate shops, HUF, and possibly an online release through Nike. On October 18th, 2022, HUF will conduct a raffle via the Copdate app. The HUF x Nike SB Dunk Low NYC will have a worldwide release via skate shops on November 12th, 2022 while Nike SNKRS will drop the pair on November 16th.
