Apple has finally entered the foldable phone market after years of Samsung’s dominance, as the California-based tech titan unveiled the iPhone Duo last month. And while pre-orders went up for the latest flagship iPhone, the iPhone 18, the iPhone Duo’s pre-orders are slated to go live later this week ahead of the October 23 release date. If you want to get ahead of the crowd and secure your pre-order as quickly as possible from Apple, you can already go ahead and start customizing your iPhone Duo order.
How to Prepare for the iPhone Duo Pre-Order
Right now, Apple’s website and the App Store on iOS have a “Get Ready” page available so you can be prepared for the upcoming iPhone Duo pre-order on October 16. To get started, you’ll need to select between the two color options, Star White and Night Sky. From there, you can select the storage size, with choices of 256 GB ($1,999), 512 GB ($2,199), 1 TB ($2,599), and 2 TB ($3,199).
Of course, you can always add a trade-in to help reduce the cost of the iPhone Duo, and there are multiple payment options available. Outside of purchasing straight up, you can finance the phone through Apple, join their Lease with Upgrade program, or finance through a carrier. After choosing, you can select which carrier you have (or purchase the phone without one), and then choose whether or not to apply AppleCare coverage. From there, Apple offers multiple accessories you can add to your order, including AirPods, chargers, the Apple Pencil, and AirTags.
iPhone Duo Pre-Order Details
Now that your pre-order is ready, your options will be saved ahead of the pre-order date. The options you have selected will be in your cart, and starting at 5:00 AM PDT (8:00 AM EDT) on October 16, you’ll be able to place your pre-order for the iPhone Duo.
Heads up, you’ll only be able to get your pre-order ready until October 15, 2026 at 9:00 PM PDT (October 16, 2026 12:00 AM EDT), so go ahead and do so as soon as possible.
