How to Get the True Blue Jordan 3 Early

The OG is back. Jordan Brand is only a week out from retroing the iconic Air Jordan 3 True Blue, one of the four OG AJ 3 colorways from 1988, with the pair last seen on shelves in 2016. The True Blue 3s will not be THAT hard to get, especially if you put in the legwork ahead of the drop. Or, if you like to secure your kicks early, you can score the Jordan 3 True Blue via JD Sports’ STATUS Exclusive Access.

JD Sports Exclusive Access Explained

Retailer JD Sports offers STATUS Exclusive Access on select sneaker releases, giving customers with a STATUS account the ability to secure shoes ahead of drop day. Random accounts are selected for STATUS Access, with access granted a few days before release. For example, if a Jordan is dropping on a Saturday, JD will typically give access for in-store pick-up around Tuesday or Wednesday and online shipping options a day or two later.

Some releases will require you to redeem STATUS points for access to the shoe, typically anywhere from 1,000 to 2,000 points. You can earn points from JD Sports by making purchases in-store and online.

When Does JD STATUS Access Go Live for the True Blue 3s?

STATUS Access for in-store pick-up for the Jordan 3 True Blue will go live on July 14, 2026 at 9:00 AM EDT (6:00 AM PDT). Expect online shipping options to go live the follow day. We’ll keep you posted via the Sole Retriever mobile app on any updates, and will send you direct links and reminders.
