Teaming up with his experimental fashion label.
Not only is Russell Westbrook a complete beast on the hardcourt, with nine NBA All-Stars and a MVP Award under his belt, he's also tearing it up in the world of fashion as well with his experimental brand, Honor The Gift. Established in 2016, the label is world-renowned for its heavily-patterned and multi-textural pieces, and now, the Los Angeles Lakers point guard is channeling this aesthetic to the Honor The Gift x Jordan Why Not 0.6 "Pecan." Taking on his own signature Jordan Brand shoe, make sure you read on to find out everything that we know so far.
Working on top of a moon fossil knit base, an asymmetrical zip shoots diagonally across in pecan suede, with additional suede elements make their way to the toebox for a luxe look and feel. A riptop shroud covers most of the upper, and this has been given a translucent finish so you can check out all of the inner workings. Elsewhere, yellow ochre fleece badges appear on the center of each tongue with Honor The Gift's logo as well as Westbrook's own mark, and to round it all off, the speckled concrete midsoles are fitted with glossy red accents. All of this comes packed in a special co-branded shoebox that's made for all the Jumpman fans out there.
The Honor The Gift x Jordan Why Not 0.6 Pecan is set to officially release on February 16th, 2023. Expected to drop in men's sizing for $150, they'll be available at Honor The Gift, Nike, the SNKRS app, as well as at select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, both online and in-store.
