Hellstar Just Shock Dropped its adidas Superstar Collab on the Confirmed App

If you weren’t in Los Angeles last weekend for NBA All-Star Weekend, you missed out on a ton of exclusive drops. Aside from the dominance of Nike, Jordan Brand, and Converse, adidas had a solid outing headlined by Anthony Edwards’ Ant-Land inside the Foot Locker Takeover at LA Live. Fans were able to cop the latest AE 2, the All-Star colorway, and had an opportunity to grab the ultra-limited adidas AE 2 made in collaboration with Hellstar. There was also a drop of Hellstar’s latest adidas Superstar, done in a matching desert camo, but it seems that some lucky fans didn’t have to fork up the money to travel to LA, as an ultra-limited adidas Confirmed drop went down this afternoon.

Social media posts on X, like the one here by Adham Abousalem (aka chefdoomy), show that the Confirmed App released the latest Hellstar x adidas Superstar via a code drop. The Three Stripes has employed a similar code-sharing drop in the past with Hartcopy’s adidas BW Army. Hartcopy and select friends of the brand posted codes on social media, which granted access to the drop, but once those customers purchased, they would then receive three codes to share. Each person is meant to share those codes with friends, who will each get three codes.

None of the official Hellstar social media accounts, the brand’s Discord, or any of the employees/founders posted anything online about this release. However, there are users who were able to check out, and according to Adham, once he was able to access the drop, all sizes above 8.5 were sold out. Right now, if you access the link, the page reads “This product is sold out on Confirmed.”

Honestly, not the greatest way to sell a product to the fans if no one really had a fair shot at securing the sneaker. These code drops by adidas are meant to give true fans of a brand first dibs at catching a W on limited collabs like this one, but again, the brand nor any of its employees made any mention that this was going down. Maybe adidas will end up canceling orders as it seems this was not meant to be accessed by the public just yet.
