As one of adidas' most sought-after models, the Samba has recently seen its popularity soar, with several new editions and collabs in the pipeline. Following the unveiling of the platform-soled version and the recently teased "XLG" edition, adidas is partnering with the iconic Hello Kitty for a special rendition that's guaranteed to turn heads.
Hello Kitty's version of the adidas Samba stays faithful to the classic silhouette but incorporates several twists that fans will adore. The sneaker sports a white and black colorway with pops of pink on the leather heel tab and a semi-translucent rubber sole unit. Textile embroidery in black accents the Three Stripes and adorns the suede T-shaped toebox overlay. A standout feature is the Hello Kitty embroidery, also in black, seamlessly integrated into the upper. Further elevating the design, the name “Hello Kitty” is debossed into the midfoot, and the insole boasts a co-branded portrait of the beloved character in full color.
The Hello Kitty x adidas Samba 2.0 W will release in 2023 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is yet to be announced.
