Carving his own path after Odd Future disbanded in the 2010s, Tyler, The Creator has found massive success both as a musical artist and designer through his brand Golf le Fleur. His collaboration with Converse helped push the label further, even getting his own silhouette - the Converse GLF in 2017. Now moving to the second iteration of the model, the latest Golf le Fleur x Converse GLF 2.0 has appeared in “Verdant Green Seaport”
Taking on a mixture of canvas and suede across the upper, these materials come in a two-tone combo of Verdant Green and Seaport. The latter of these two shades makes its mark on the suede toebox, eyestays, and heel overlay as well as the laces and tongue. Branding details are scarcely visible as our only notable logo is the hand-drawn Golf le Fleur logo atop the tongue, however, the pink insole comes co-branded between Golf and Converse and an included hangtag features more Golf branding. A major hit of verdant green comes via the canvas underlay which wraps all the way from the edge of the toebox to the collar while the entire design is rounded out by the textured white rubber midsole and pink rubber outsole.
The Golf le Fleur x Converse GLF 2.0 Verdant Green Seaport is set to release on December 9th, 2022 via Converse and select retailers online and in-store. Releasing in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
