Tyler, the Creator’s venture in the fashion industry, is spearheaded through his Golf labels, GOLF le FLEUR* and Golf Wang. While the latter is his lower-priced point and graphic-heavy brand, le FLEUR* is more of a luxury brand, and it’s through this arm that he’s been working with Converse as of late. Following up on his last GOLF le FLEUR* x Converse capsule, which launched in April this year, a new collection for the fall season has appeared.
Across five different GOLF le FLEUR* x Converse Chuck 70 Ox colorways, we see le FLEUR*’s dog mascot, Darryl, as the primary focus. In each color scheme, including Milky Blue, Dachshund, Margarita, Orchid Petal, and Lemon Meringue, a canvas construction in the titular hue is present, with cream-white rubber landing on the toecap. More cream shades take over the lace set, which weave through metallic eyelets and rest atop the tongue. Though there are no overt branding details here, le FLEUR*’s Airedale Terrier mascot, Darryl, is found on the lateral heel, and the brand’s name is featured on the co-branded insole. Finishing the look is the cream rubber midsole paired with a blue rubber outsole containing a portrait of le FLEUR*’s bellboy logo.
The Golf le FLEUR* x Converse Chuck 70 Ox Darryl Pack will release on September 26, 2024, through Converse and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
