After being teased three years back, the triple collab between Futura, Off-White, and Nike will be released via an auction on Sotheby's.

Off-White x Futura Laboratories x Nike Dunk Low Pack

Two years after “The Ten” Collection via Virgil Abloh’s Off-White and Nike released, the late-great designer showcased his then-upcoming take on the Nike Dunk Low. While we did receive three collegiate-inspired colorways in December of 2019, there has been a coveted unreleased set of pairs that were designed in collaboration with graffiti artist, Futura. Thought to be exclusive to F&F, a release of both colorways on the Off-White x Futura Laboratories Nike Dunk Low is rumored to be coming soon.

Coming in the standard Dunk construction of all-leather across the upper, typical Off-White design details merge with the graffiti style art Futura is famous for. Both pairs come in a two-tone color palette reminiscent of a typical UNC and Syracuse colorway, though the multi-color tie-dye underlay adds some flair to the mix. Extra bungee laces loop throughout the upper via the extra eyestays added to the upper, coming in an accenting orange hue. On the medial side of the midfoot, the Off-White Helvetica font denoting the pair of shoes gets a slight rework as the “Nike Dunk Low” portion comes in a graffiti-style font. Flipping to the other side, the heel overlay gets “FL” stamped atop, an abbreviation for Futura Laboratories. Rounding everything out is the white midsole paired with a semi-translucent rubber outsole that hosts Futura’s signature underneath.

Both colorways of the Off-White x Futura Laboratories x Nike Dunk Low were rumored to release on Virgil Abloh’s birthday, September 30th, 2022, via the Canary Yellow site. That date has come and gone with no release occurring. Months later, pairs popped up on Sotheby's website and will now see a release through an auction benefiting charity. More information regarding the auction and the history of the collaboration can be found here.
