adidas Gets Experimental With Jason Dill’s Fucking Awesome
Updated on •Published
Following his storied skating career, Jason Dill took his early 2000’s Fucking Awesome (aka FA) to another level. Crafting every design himself, his brand is now carried in stores like Supreme and Dover Street Market. While the man behind the brand had Vans as a sponsor, his FA brand has been linking up with adidas since 2020. To start off the year, FA links up with adidas again on the skate ready adidas Experimental 1.
Covered in a camouflage underlay, tan and khaki make up the suede and leather overlays around the toe box and midfoot. Along the black mesh tongue, a criss-cross speed lacing system works towards the co-branded FA and adidas tongue tag. Further branding adidas branding appears on the midfoot with green Three Stripes sitting atop the camo underlay. Back towards the heel, a perforated leather panel sits besides the pull tab. All of this is rounded out by a one-piece gum rubber midsole and outsole featuring thick traction, giving you ultimate grip to shred on your board.
The Fucking Awesome x adidas Experimental 1 is set to release in July 2022 via fuckingawesome.com with a wider release through adidas and select Three Stripes retailers to follow on August 13th. Coming in men's sizing, they will retail for $110. To stay updated on this upcoming adidas skate model, keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
