Flyknit on our Mind: Hiroshi Fujiwara Previews Flyknit fragment Nike Mind 002 Collab

The Nike Mind Collection rollout broke through in a way that few expected. Debuting new technology designed to refocus athletes with every step and tap into the brain’s sensory responses, the Mind 001 mule and Mind 002 sneaker sold out in every color available in minutes. Now, we’re getting closer to the first Nike Mind collab, with new preview pictures surfacing of a second fragment design colorway.

After posting photos of a fragment design x Nike Mind 001 earlier this month with an all-black upper and blue nodes underfoot, fragment founder Hiroshi Fujiwara is back with another sneak peek, adding a Flyknit upper to the Nike Mind 002 sneaker silhouette.

So far, we’ve only seen one preview posted to Fujiwara’s Instagram showing the back half of a Mind 002 in all black with a Flyknit upper and a “Fragment Concept Testing” product label stamped onto the cushy midsole in white text. The upper looks like it has bits of grey near the lace panel, but from just the one photo, we can’t be sure.

As of now, the fragment design x Nike Mind preview pairs don’t have a release date or retail price, but considering Fujiwara’s long history with Nike and Jordan, we wouldn’t be surprised if these were regular collab releases, Japan exclusives, or simply Fujiwara’s personal pairs.
