The Nike Book 2 rollout has been full of heat, and not just in the golden-yellow rising-phoenix sense. From Spiridon colorways inspired by Booker’s design process to March Madness PEs and a shoutout to his Kentucky college days, Nike is going all out for the Suns’ star. So for the shoe’s first official collab, it’s only right that Booker tap Hiroshi Fujiwara and the fragment design team for a few months of hype building.

After selling out an early release at All-Star Weekend in LA last month, and dropping an ultra-limited Warning Label pair, the fragment design x Nike Book 2 is finally getting a wider, albeit still limited, release this month. The collab colorway starts with a black base split between soft suede on the bottom half and premium stitched fabric on the top. The side panel Swooshes switch from fragment blue to white on either side to match the white tongue labels and blue outsole hits.

Co-branding is added to the lateral heel with the fragment lightning bolt logo, lightning bolts added to the Book logo on the tongue and insoles, and fragment’s traditional technical detail descriptions added to the medial side of the midsole.
