Originally founded by Tetsu Nishiyama, in 1993, the Japanese streetwear brand puts their twist on the Nike SB Blazer Low. Their second collaboration with Nike’s skateboarding division, these Blazer’s serve as a follow-up to their SB Dunk High released in 2019. Applying their ethos that once a work is altered beyond 40 percent, the rights to that work don't exist any more, FPAR’s take on this collaboration reflects their belief that skateboarding and a guerrilla ethos against media can change the world, thanks to its understated tone.
Coming in a clean cool grey, wolf grey and medium grey colorway, this triple-grey Nike SB Blazer Low sports a smooth suede upper. Tumbled leather accents the tongue, Swoosh on the sides and back heel tab while an exotic snakeskin stripe is found on the later sides. FPAR branding is found on the left sneaker via the custom lace dubrae, back heel tab and tongue tag, as well as being featured on both insoles.
The FPAR x Nike SB Blazer Low is set to release on December 20th, 2021. They will launch at Nike as well as select Nike SB retailers in-store and online. They will be available in men’s sizing retailing for $105. Keep it locked to our Twitter and mobile app to stay up to date on this release as it gets closer.
