Footpatrol's Take On The Mizuno Contender Is Inspired By Football

With the 2022 FIFA World Cup finals now on the horizon, Footpatrol has teamed up with Mizuno for a range that pays tribute to the Beautiful Game. Comprising of the Footpatrol x Mizuno Contender, the "Post Match" collection is the perfect way to end another eventful season of soccer. If you want a pair in your collection then make sure you read on to find out everything that you need to know.
Working on the iconic '90s silhouette, Footpatrol's version of the Contender is crafted from luxe leather and supple suede that has been taken from unused football boots. Mizuno's legendary Runbird motif shoots through the lateral and medial sidewalls, while co-branded detailing is finely embroidered across the tongue, nodding to the British retailer's 20th Anniversary. Striking blue hues add a pop of color into the monochromatic mix, and underfoot, you'll find a chunky EVA midsole that quite literally takes comfort and cushioning to new heights.
Dropping alongside a football jersey with a split design, the Footpatrol x Mizuno Contender Post Match will release on December 10th, 2022 exclusively at Footpatrol and will be available in men's sizes with a retail price yet TBA.
