After months of watching the offseason shuffle, the NBA is finally back in action today. And with the start of a new season comes a celebration of the victors from the previous season, with the New York Knicks conducting a ring ceremony today in honor of the franchise’s NBA Finals victory over the Spurs. But it’s not just the Knicks that will get in on the celebration, as Foot Locker, just days after revealing a new partnership with the New York Knicks, has announced a shock drop of Jalen Brunson’s Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro Arancia months ahead of its retail release.
Jalen Brunson’s Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro Arancia PE Details
Brunson, who has reportedly shut down offers of a signature sneaker in favor of continuing to receive Nike Kobe PEs, debuted the Arancia Kobe 3 Low in January. However, it was thought to be a true player-exclusive for Brunson until reports emerged in March that showed the pair was getting a retail release.
As for the shoe itself, it comes in an orange and blue combo that perfectly matches the Knicks’ jerseys, with most of the upper doused in orange. This covers the leather toecap, midfoot mesh panel, webbed TPU structure, the laces, tongue, and the leather back on the heel. Pops of blue emerge on the Kobe sheath logo atop the tongue and the Nike Swoosh on the back of the heel. Down below sits an orange midsole and outsole.
