The legacy trail running brand led the way for the mainstreaming of gorpcore, bringing the hiking lifestyle to the urban environment with a steady run of clean silhouettes and culturally relevant collabs. Now, Salomon is moving further into the big leagues, with a new retail distribution deal from one of the world’s biggest sneaker sellers, Foot Locker.

Foot Locker and Salomon announced the new partnership in a joint press release, highlighting pairs of the XT-6, XT-6 GORE-TEX, and XT-Whisper that will soon be available at Foot Locker locations everywhere. Looking at recent exclusive drops from Asics, Nike, and more, we’re guessing the retail deal will also include some Foot Locker-exclusive colorways down the line.
