From the outside looking in, Steph Curry’s relationship with Under Armour seemed to be one of the best in the signature sneaker game. UA signed Curry to a lifetime contract in 2023, but only two years would pass before the two would end their professional relationship in what came as a shock to everyone in the sneaker and sports world. Since then, Steph has taken advantage of his free agent status, rocking literally every brand aside from Under Armour. Even still, the two are launching the 13th signature sneaker in the Under Armour Curry line, the Curry 13, in February 2026. Ahead of the sneaker’s official launch, detailed images have emerged online.
Marking a stark departure from the design language of previous sneakers in the Curry line, the new Under Armour Curry 13 features a higher cut compared to the low-top cuts of the Curry 12 and 11. The last model came with a one-piece engineered mesh upper reinforced with suede panels on the medial toe, but the 13 adds extra reinforcement with a large leather panel across the upper. Tech hasn’t been fully revealed, but it appears that the model still uses UA Flow for cushioning. So far, we’ve seen four different colorways of the sneaker, one in Yellow, another in Black Red, a third in Pink, and finally an all-over Blue.
As mentioned at the top of this article, the Under Armour Curry 13 will be Steph Curry’s final sneaker with Under Armour before the two officially end their working relationship in October 2026. After that, Steph will be fully free from his partnership with the Maryland-based sportswear brand as they align with their “core UA brand.” Unfortunately, Curry suffered an injury after playing in Tyrese Haliburton’s Puma Hali 1 sneaker, so we’ve had fewer opportunities to see the superstar wear new sneakers. In warm-ups before his first game, he wore Anthony Edwards’ adidas AE 1 in the ultra-limited CLOT colorway, but played in the AE 2. Expect to see Steph continue to explore different sneaker brands over the coming months.
The Under Armour Curry 13 will debut February 2026 through Under Armour and select retailers online and in-store. Check below for first looks at the Curry 13, and download the Sole Retriever mobile app for updates on the latest happenings in the sneaker and streetwear world.
