Fenty x Puma's August Drop Might Just Be its Wildest to Date

Is there anything Rihanna can't do? Just days after starring in the latest Smurfs film, the Barbadian multi-hyphenate has now unveiled the newest Fenty x Puma collection. And of all her creations over the past few years, this might just be her most experimental drop yet.
Leading the pack is the Fenty x Puma Cat Cleat. From the name alone, you'd naturally assume that it's some kind of football boot. But then you see the silhouette and think, “Who am I kidding? This is Rihanna we're talking about here.” The Cat Cleat is actually a beach sandal, crafted from premium leather and available in two clean colorways: Black and White. While everything appears relatively standard at first glance, a closer look reveals cleat-like studs fitted to the back, creating a kitten heel-style effect that aligns perfectly with Fenty's signature androgynous edge.

It's weird, wild, and wonderful in all the best ways. But, if you're after something a little more wearable, the Fenty x Puma Avanti Stitched might be more your vibe. Built from soft tumbled leather with quilted detailing throughout, the design nods to motocore icons like the Speedcat OG. Puma's iconic Formstrip glides across the sidewalls, while a metallic gold tongue overlay adds a touch of vintage football boot flair. Underfoot, a translucent rubber outsole dotted with textured dimples brings a subtle futuristic twist.
Looking for something a little more out there? The Fenty x Puma Cat Cleat and Fenty x Puma Avanti Stitched are the answer. Releasing on August 7, 2025, at Puma and select retailers both online and in-store, both silhouettes will be available in unisex sizing.
