The Feng Chen Wang x Converse Chuck 70 Ox 2-in-1 Returns in Two Colorways in May 2025

Chinese fashion designer Feng Chen Wang and her eponymous label are once again collaborating with Converse. Following up on the duo’s Chuck 70 Ox 2-in-1 pack from February and May 2024, they’re revisiting the hybrid silhouette, launching two colorways inspired by Chinese ceramics.
Retaining the double construction found on previous releases, Feng Chen Wang’s take on the Chuck 70 features a canvas overlay and double-layered foxing tape, portraying two sneakers converging into one cohesive whole. The sole unit prominently displays this design motif as it’s split into four quadrants, revealing the second sole unit layered below the two-tone rubber outsole. Outside of the obvious high-fashion design language, Feng Chen Wang makes its presence known through its logo placed on the lateral heel, lace set, and insole.

As for the color palette, both the Brown and Blue colorways are inspired by the pottery style of Jian Ware, which dates back to the 5th century. Textural finishes on select panels resemble glaze patterns found on Jian Ware, while the over-dyed panels and worn-in rubber details add to the vintage pottery theme.
The Feng Chen Wang x Converse Chuck 70 2-in-1 Ox will release on May 20, 2025, through Converse and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $130.
