The partnership led to the birth of a sub-label under adidas, Fear of God Athletics. Until now, the duo has kept us waiting, teasing us through a captivating fashion show at the Hollywood Bowl and detailed looks from online leakers. While we just got first looks at a running-based silhouette from Fear of God Athletics x adidas, a low-top iteration of the Fear of God Athletics x adidas The 86 has appeared.

This low-top creation features a retro vibe inspired by adidas' iconic basketball designs like the Rivalry and Forum from the '80s. The shoe flaunts a platform sole and comes dressed in Jerry Lorenzo's signature earth-tone palette. Completely sheathed in sumptuous suede, The 86 Low captures a harmonious appearance with its tonal laces. Branding for adidas finds its place on the heel tab, while a black rectangle on the heel of the sole proudly displays the Fear of God name. Additional adidas insignias make their presence felt on the lateral heel of the sole. Underneath this aesthetic marvel, a sturdy rubber outsole promises durable comfort.

The Fear of God Athletics x adidas The 86 Low is set to release in Holiday 2023 through adidas Confirmed and select retailers online and in-store.
