Kobe Bryant played his entire career for the Los Angeles Lakers, but if he were to have hung up his gold and purple jersey for any other team across any sport, it might have been with FC Barcelona. Bryant was a well-known fan of the La Liga powerhouse squad, and given his penchant for soccer thanks to a partial upbringing in Italy, it made sense when his signature sneaker line would cross the pond and team up with Barca. Now, after getting an early preview of the Kobe 3 Low Protro made in collaboration with FC Barcelona, and seeing official images of a matching Dunk Low Protro, official photos of the Kobe 3 have appeared.

FC Barcelona’s Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro borrows its color palette not only from the aforementioned Nike Dunk Low Protro but also from the recent Kobe x FC Barcelona kit and apparel items that just hit shelves. Purple hues dominate the shoe, used on the leather toe cap, the plastic netting above the black mesh base, and along the tongue.

Crests for Barcelona appear on multiple parts of the shoe, including the vamp and the left sneaker’s tongue. The Kobe sheath logo on the right tongue matches the Barca crest and the Swoosh on the heel with its golden finish. Completing the look is the purple midsole and matching purple rubber outsole.
