Gaming organizations have become major business ventures in the last decade or so with many of the top “clans” getting their start as community-driven groups. One of the most successful and recognizable is FaZe Clan which has received investments from VCs while also maintaining a roster full of major gaming talent and celebrities like Bronny James. Recently collaborating with LeBron James’ on his take-down version of the Nike LeBron 20, the Nike Zoom LeBron NXXT Gen, FaZe Clan is partnering with Japanese streetwear legends BAPE on a capsule of co-branded apparel.
Included in the collection are standard clothing pieces like t-shirts, hoodies, and shorts as well as a gaming jersey full of co-branded details. FaZe Clan’s red color palette appears throughout with black accenting this vibrant shade on all of the pieces including the travel bag and sticker pack ready to decorate your PC or gaming station. Like many BAPE pieces, in-your-face branding is present with both labels' logos featured prominently throughout while the iconic BAPE camo print gets a redesign with FaZe Clan’s logo sprinkled into the design.
The FaZe Clan x BAPE Collection is set to release on February 18th, 2023 in Japan through select BAPE stores, COMME des GARÇONS, BAPEXCLUSIVE Aoyama, and bape.com while a wider release has not been confirmed. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail prices range between ¥9,900 (approx $73 USD) for the t-shirt and ¥35,200 (approx $262 USD) for the full-zip hoodie.
