The New York-based artist Faust adds his touch on the Nike SB Dunk High.
With the Nike SB hype still in full force, the skateboard division of Nike is looking to NYC-based artist Faust for hos touch on the SB Dunk High. This blacked-out colorway titled “Sell Your Soul” has plenty of details to make up for the seemingly plain color palette.
Coming dressed in a mix of premium black suede and tumbled leather, the defining feature of Faust' contribution lies on the calligraphy embroidered onto the midfoot reading “Sure Faust," an homage to Faust' best friend Sure who sadly passed away in 2010 while serving the military in Afghanistan. Laces provide a pop of color with its two-tone black and gold running up to the suede tongue tag, though a set of black laces will help keep things semi-monochromatic if you so choose so. Placed opposite of the previously mentioned calligraphy is a blacked out embroidery of the word "Matters." More Faust details make their way to the lace dubrae and reverse of the tongue tag, host to his signature graffiti tag. Rounding out the look is a black on black midsole and outsole combo.
The Faust x Nike SB Dunk High Sell Your Soul is set to release on August 27th through select Nike SB skate shops and Nike SNKRS. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
