Fat Joe holds a venerable position in the world of hip-hop and sneaker culture. Beyond his chart-topping hits, the Terror Squad frontman has showcased a deep love for sneakers, often seen flexing rare kicks and exclusive pairs. More often than not, this is with his favorite, the Nike Air Force 1 Low. While many fans got a taste of this passion with the recent Terror Squad Nike Air Force 1 Low drop, Fat Joe had more in store. At the BET Hip Hop Awards, all eyes were on his feet as he revealed a Red colorway from the collaboration, exclusively for friends and family.
The new iteration follows a design pattern reminiscent of the Black White rendition that recently became available to the public. In this F&F exclusive, the dominating black overlays are swapped out for luxurious red leather, infusing the silhouette with an undeniable vibrancy. The sneaker sports a prominent "TS" embroidery on the lateral heel, a testimony to the Terror Squad legacy. Another notable detail is the "JC" marking on the heel tab, a tribute to Fat Joe's nickname, "Joey Crack," and his birth name, Joseph Cartagena. The shoe rests on a crisp white midsole adorned with red accent stitching and the iconic Air branding, all atop a vivid red rubber outsole.
The Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 Low Red is reserved for friends and family and will not see a retail release.
