Grand Theft Auto 6 is most certainly going to live up to, and probably exceed, our expectations. Don’t let some silly low-quality leaks of an older work-in-progress version of GTA 6 on social media convince you otherwise. Rockstar Games blew those clips out of the water with the 27-minute Extended Look trailer that dropped yesterday, and virtually everyone is in agreement that the game looks fantastic. As soon as we finished viewing the trailer, we went in and rounded up everything we learned, including the fact that Rockstar has included some nods to real-life sneakers.
That got us thinking, how many different real-life sneakers does Rockstar parody in GTA 6? Obviously, we only have marketing material and the trailers to go off at this point, but it’s surprising the number of different sneaker brands and models that will be present in-game. Some are actual references and rips of real-life releases, while others are fantasy colorways that honestly could inspire a real-life version someday. Once the game does release on November 19, 2026 (barring any delays), we’ll be sure to dig deep and find all the references Rockstar has cooked up during the last 13 years of development.
Every Sneaker in GTA 6 (So Far)
Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid Graffiti

Rockstar is going all-in on the streetwear in GTA 6, and back when they announced the Ultimate Edition, they shared screenshots of features exclusive to that version of the game. There’s one image where Lucia is seen getting a tattoo while rocking a pair of mid-top graffiti-covered shoes. It’s clearly a reference to the Off-White Nike Air Force 1 Mid Graffiti which was released back in 2022.
Air Jordan 1 High Chicago

Months back, Rockstar released a set of marketing images showcasing different characters and locations in Leonida. One of these is a character named Real Dimez, and in one of her photos, you can see someone nearby wearing a pair of Chicago Jordan 1 Highs.
Air Jordan 1 High UNC Obsidian

An Air Jordan 1 High was spotted in the Extended Look trailer right at the beginning. When Lucia and Jason are entering the apartment building, one of the characters hanging outside the front door is seen wearing what looks awfully close to the UNC Obsidian AJ 1 High.
Air Jordan 1 High Heritage

Back to marketing material, a drawn image of the character Dre’Quan Priest has him rocking an Eris high-top sneaker that is just like the Air Jordan 1 High Heritage.
Air Jordan 1 High White Red (made-up colorway)

In the Extended Look, we see a character pick up a duffel bag, and we get a glimpse at the AJ 1 High knock-offs he’s wearing. The Eris sneakers are not based on an actual Jordan 1 High colorway, though it is quite similar to the Heritage pair.
Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 (made-up colorway)

In-game, the Nike parody brand is called Eris, and it’s been included in the Grand Theft Auto HD universe, spanning GTA 4, GTA 5, and now GTA 6. Previous entries in the GTA series didn’t create the most realistic sneakers due to graphical limitations, but Rockstar has gone all in on recreating iconic sneakers. Included is the Nike Air Tech Challenge 2, which is seen on an NPC in the background. Unfortunately, the pair pictured isn’t a real colorway, but it’s a clear reference to Andre Agassi’s sneaker.
Nike Air Max 97 Silver Bullet

Another sneaker found at the start of the Extended Look is a pair of silver shoes that look just like the Nike Air Max 97 Silver Bullet. It’s not a direct 1-to-1 recreation, but it’s close enough that it’s clear Rockstar is referencing the iconic Air Max model.
Vans Classic Slip-On

Though we’ve seen Jason rocking a Vans Classic Slip-On knock-off for months, thanks to marketing material, he’s seen rocking the shoe in the Extended Look. We get a clear view of the blue Slip-Ons when Jason is breaking into a car using the new slim jim item.
Nike Air Force 1 Low White Blue (made-up colorway)

There are quite a few different colorways of the Air Force 1 seen throughout the trailer, but this white and blue pair was the first one we spotted.
Nike Air Force 1 Low White Gum

Later on in the Extended Look, Lucia gifts Jason some clothes as they’re getting ready to meet Brian for drinks. Once Jason heads into the other room to change, we get a close-up of the kicks he’s lacing up, and they’re clearly an Air Force 1 knock-off. The colorway seems to be based on a pair of AF1s that dropped over a decade ago, back when GTA 5 was still just a few years old.
Converse Chuck Taylor

A montage of robberies committed by Jason and Lucia shows off another pair of kicks. When Lucia runs out of a building to jump on the back of Jason’s motorbike, we can see she has a pair of Chuck Taylors on.
