END Clothing has maintained its position as one of Europe's biggest retailers for streetwear, high fashion, and sneakers while at the same time landing collaborations with some of the biggest players in the space. Linking up with adidas most recently on the Ultraboost OG 1.0, the duo is now tackling the adidas Superturf as a part of a larger collection that pays homage to the Ibex goat.
Taking over the outdoor-ready sneaker is a combination of canvas, suede, and nylon overlays and underlays in tones that mimic that of the natural environment, Eurasia and parts of Africa, in which the Ibex goat lives. Olive hues land on the shaggy suede mudguard, the zipper cover on the tongue, and via the nylon straps along the midfoot, while cream shades come placed on the various suede overlays throughout the profile. This same combo makes up the eyestays that are home to tech copper laces, resting atop a hidden tech copper-colored canvas tongue. For the base layer, Cordura canvas comes in a more true white compared to the overlays while further olive hits appear on the heel overlay and pull tab. Even though END itself doesn’t make an appearance on the upper, the insole comes with a co-branded graphic between both adidas and the European retailer along with a small depiction of the Ibex goat itself. Rounding out the design is the AdiPRENE+ foam midsole in cream paired with a trail-ready rubber outsole in a tech copper shade.
The END Clothing x adidas Superturf Ibex is set to release on September 30th, 2022 exclusively through END online and in-store. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
